When you support Little Mother Photography, you are supporting local families who otherwise may not be able to afford professional photos. Every newborn and maternity session I gift to these deserving photos is because you chose me to be your photographer. To you I am so grateful! When I started Little Mother Photography I knew giving back needed to be an important part of my business plan. One way I give back is through an organization I am on the board of: Guiding Star of Mid Missouri. Guiding Star is a nation-wide pregnancy resource organization founded to help pregnant women and new mothers find assistance, education, and intervention when needed. In our Mid-Missouri chapter of Guiding Star we have helped dozens of women in need right here in Phelps County. I donate my services regularly to these families who may not otherwise be able to afford maternity and newborn photography. It is a privilege and an honor that these families allow me into their lives to capture these tender moments. Many of the photographs on my website and social media are of these families. I do not think it appropriate or relevant to call out specifically which sessions have been gifted, everyone gets the same (might I say stellar?!) Little Mother Photography treatment when I work with them! Please enjoy this gallery of newborn babies, some of my absolute favorites from this past year. By you hiring Little Mother Photography, I have the resources to provide professional photos to these deserving families.
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and may God bless you and yours. -Kandi

Thankful As the 2018 holiday season gets started I can’t help but sit back and think about how blessed I am, about all of the things I am so thankful for. My family. My wonderful husband, Matt, who always supports my dreams and goals. I couldn’t be where I am today were it not for his undying love and support. He is the yin to my yang, my partner and my soulmate. My three amazing kids. Haylee has become such a wonderful independent young woman, impressing me every day with her wit and personality. Whitten has grown into such a handsome young man, full of charm and always making us laugh. And Ainslee, such a quick learner and sharp young girl. I'm so lucky to be your mom. My business. What I started in 2013 with a few close friends and family as clients has grown and flourished in ways I never could have dreamed. I’ve been able to keep Theresa Weidner on part-time, and in 2018 the Little Mother Photography team grew even more, and Torie Hance was welcomed as an additional photographer. 2018 has been Little Mother Photography’s biggest and most successful year. We gained more clients, and scheduled more shoots than ever before. And YOU help make it possible. Every session you purchase, every one of my social media posts you comment on or “like” help me to grow and expand my business, but even more, lets me continue to do what I love: create timeless photography for you and your loved ones. From the bottom of my heart: thank you for your love and support now and always.
![]() Approaching 2018 As we approach 2018, Little Mother Photography would love to take this opportunity to reflect on the past year. We are so grateful to our clients, new and returning, for helping this be the most successful year we’ve ever had. 2017 was an exciting year of growth and many accomplishments, most notable of which may very well been selected as the 2017 Best Photographer in Phelps County by the Rolla Daily News! This award couldn’t have been possible without the support (and votes) of our wonderful clients. Thank you to everyone who voted for us! Little Mother Photography has grown, moved into a new (larger) studio, photographed more sessions than ever, and even embarked on a new adventure: web design! ![]() A Larger Studio (& Milk Bath) In July we moved from our original studio to a larger one at 1007 Hauck Drive. We celebrated the move and growth with a wonderful ribbon cutting ceremony with the Rolla Chamber of Commerce. In addition to moving studio location we added a milk bath studio, the only one in the area. Check out these beautiful milk bath images we captured in 2017. More Sessions Than Ever 2017 was the busiest year for Little Mother Photography to date. Between births, newborns, families, events, milestones, and special sessions we’ve had our work cut out! In the month of October alone we were on call for 3 births in the greater Phelps, Dent and Polaski counties. Below are some of our favorite baby images from 2017. Below are some of our favorite maternity bump images from 2017. Below are some of our family and other images from 2017. Web Design In 2017 Little Mother Photography rolled out it's unique approach to webdesign and photography services for local businesses. Our first (of many) websites, Sybill's Restaurant and Gift Shop is now live. We look forward to continuing to maintain Sybill's site, as well as continue to build new ones. Continued Personal & Professional Growth
The Little Mother Photography team prides itself in staying on the cutting edge. The technology we own, the education and training that we we attend, or the trends that we watch closely, we want to make sure that our clients are getting the best service and product possible. We are so thankful to everyone who helped making 2017 so successful, special, and memorable. We look forward to a wonderful 2018! |
