What do you get when you combine three, two year olds, a half a dozen balloons, and a small confined space? Fun and crazy chaos!!!!! These little ones were full of energy and smiles, and my little one was quietly observing their twin interaction. I really had a great time chasing them around and encouraging them to smile and love on each other! Such a sweet sweet couple of kids. Oh and all that red hair!!!!!!
This little girl was all smiles for her family's portrait session. We had so much fun coaxing her sweet little grins, and snapping some fantastic pictures for her momma, and daddy!
I shot this session and a location I just recently added to my rotation, and I couldn't be more thrilled with how wonderful the light and scenery worked together! Looking forward to several more sessions here this fall.
This crazy group was so much fun! We laughed quite a bit during thier session, and those are the best! We battled high winds, strange cloud movement, and an annoying beeping sound to capture this families first pictures together. I feel so blessed to be a part of this special memory for this crew, and I look forward to many more family sessions with them!
This poor little man, was not in the mood to party! Smash cake sessions can go one of two ways, baby covered in cake and thrilled with his moment in the spotlight. Or, baby not interested in the cake, or the spotlight, or any piece of it.
This little guy was having fun, dancing to his music and giving me some adorable faces, until I pulled out the cake. Then it happened, he was having none of it, tears, pouty lower lip, and sad sad faces.
With a stroke of genius mom said if it was yogurt he'd eat it like crazy, strangely enought I had a new tub of yogurt from a store run in the studio fridge. Day, saved! Kiddo dug in the we managed to get some fabulous shots of his smash cake! Always have to think outside the box!
Hope he enjoys the cake at his party a little bit more, happy birthday little man!
The very first baby photographed by Little Mother Photography was in February of this year, he was roughly two weeks old and super sweet. He has grown a little bit since then, he and his momma popped in the studio recently for a little watch me grow session. This little guy was on the move so at one point it turned into a watch me go session!
It is so nice to see those little faces again, I love watching babies grow up, especially other peoples! Watching my own grow up is a little bit heart breaking and bitter sweet.
Thanks E for stopping by, and don't grow up too fast!
A wedding photographer I am not, however, when asked to photograph the wedding of a good friends sister, I agreed.
Here are a few outtakes from what may have been the single most stressful, and yet fun photography work I have done to date. I was so honored to be a small part of this lovely couples special day and I hope
I did justice to the beauty of their ceremony. Here are a few of my favorites from the day!
Most times, in the early days of a business you work very hard for every win, every sale, session, or what ever it is your doing. Eventually things start coming in unsolicited, slowly, like sap in January, but it does come.
A month or so I received an email from a couple interested in a maternity and newborn sessioon. Wahoo!!! My dream client I love love these sessions, they are my end goal for this business. We schedule thier session, and the day arrives.
It was glorious, the light, the personalities, all came together for one of my favorite maternity session to date. They are anxiously awaiting the birth of thier son, and this session was such a celebration of this special time for thier family.
I am so excited for thier newborn session, I can't wait to meet thier little man, and capture those wonderful memories for this special family. Here is one of my favorite images from this session. Please check out Little Mother Photography on facebook for more images from this session and others.
