There are all kinds of pies, pumpkin, apple, and of course the cutie pie! This handsome little guy was so much fun. He was interested in everything and anything except looking at the camera. It was a fun session of playing chase the babies gaze.
We managed to capture some sweet moments and adorable smiles from his handsome face. Hard to believe this handsome man is already six months old.

I just love maternity sessions, and this little budding family is no exceptions. Daddy, is so obviously in love with his beautiful wife! We had beautiful weather and gorgeous color, not to mention some glorious un seasonably warm weather.
We snuck in a few studio shots as well, and I love this solid backdrop, more have been ordered so stay tuned to see what new colors will be in the studio soon. I am looking forward to meeting their sweet little lady, and watching this family grow. This little family has been with me from the beginning, I have so enjoyed working with them and seeing their baby grow.
We did a fall family session for them and it was perfect outside, sun shining, and leaves full of color. This fun family has a great Halloween costumes, little man is an elephant, so fitting from his newborn pictures and nursery theme. Mom, rocked her mini nursing portion of the morning, she nailed a Rosie the Rivetor themed costume and little H loved spending time with both momma and daddy! Love this little family and cannot wait to see them again! Ahhhh the beach! I love love love all the texture, colors, layers, and saturation you can find in a beach town. The sea air erodes buildings and paint leaving behind some gorgeous textures that I find to be amazingly appealing. And the locals are not afraid of color, thank goodness! I always love to explore the architecture, and angles of a new place. I took my camera along on this trip and I am so glad I did. Here are a few of my favorites from the Keys.
Simba is the puppy of a good friend of mine, poor little guy is having a rough time of late. His owner wanted some good pictures of her friend and I was happy to help. Sweet Simba, posed like a pro and we managed to capture some great memories.
I've been taking pictures of this little girl since before she was born! Here she is six months old, and happy a baby you'll never find. She's got to be the most relaxed smiley little one I've ever met.
For her six month pictures we opted for pink, pink, pink! All the girly goodness for her, and it was perfection. She really did great, most little ones don't love being changed, posed, and then left alone on set. We were able to get so many great shots of her it was hard to narrow them down. Here are my top three, hope you enjoy. These boys, full of energy and loving all the access to leaves, sticks, and various other things found on the forest floor!
It always feels like a loosing game of catch or tag when your chasing after little ones on the make! I managed to get some fun, and casual shots of the these cousins. So much fun to chase them when they give you faces like these! My word this little man is sooo handsome! He was full of smiles, and some serious faces as well.
I was able to use a new backdrop for his session and it works so well with the camel fuzzy, I forsee that combo being used again and again. R was such a trooper through two wardrobe changes, and we struck gold when we let him get into his favorite outfit, pampers! His smiles and grins never stopped coming and his momma and daddy were great and keeping him in set, and content. Sessions like this one make my job so much fun, smiling babies, beautiful pictures, and happy parents are really the very best of days for me. First birthday sessions are always available in studio, and smash cakes custom made for your little one with a two week notice. The rainy weather threatened to put an end to the rescheduled session, but with fingers crossed and prayers sent heavenward, the weather let up and we were able to get some great family shots.
Little miss L was great fun very excited and full of energy and silly faces, I managed to snap this one on the end between some crossed eyes and puckered lips! And Mr W, oh my goodness that grin is going to steal hearts one day! Mom and the older sisters are all simply beautiful, we had a great time tromping around in the wet grass and I think we captured some wonderful memories for this family. We did it, despite the threat of rain, a small camera malfunction, and the obvious issue with coordinating the bringing together of a dozen people! This extended family session was great, we used a local park so the little guys would have the opportunity to play between groupings, and we got some great pictures of all of them. I loved the color combination they showed up in, a simple and subtle choice of grey, navy, and goldenrod was striking.
The biggest challenge for me was how to organize the big group shots, but I think we managed it quite well, with three different poses that included everyone, and better yet, for most of them the babies are looking at the camera! It was great fun, and I tip my hat to the ladies who coordinated all of it, great job! |
