Let's talk about one of my favorite types of sessions: milk baths! Milk baths are, relaxing, intimate, and FUN! I love photographing pregnant mamas in the tub, but they are AMAZING for a flirty solo session too. Recently I welcomed two gorgeous women into my milk bath studio. We put a fun twist on the traditional wildflower milk bath, and had fun with glitter and roses.
If you're not familiar with milk baths, please allow me to explain! I have my own private milk bath studio in St. James for my clients. I always thoroughly clean and sanitize the tub before and after clients. The tub is filled with bath temperature water, and then powdered milk is added. I use powdered milk instead of liquid because of the reduced risks of rashes, and infections. Throughout my milk bath sessions my client's safety, privacy and comfort are always my top priority.
This first woman is soaking in a tub with rose pedals. Such sensual images! I always source fresh, local seasonal flowers.
This glitter bath had a very whimsical, flirty feel. Some serious pixi vibes here!
Whether you're looking for stunning maternity images, a flirty solo session I hope you'll book a milk bath session with me!
This past Saturday, during my Mommy and Me marathon, reminded me how much I LOVE working with mothers and women and general. The sessions were full of smiles, love, and the bond between mother and child. Helping women feel gorgeous and confident, while capturing intimate moments is one of the reasons I started Little Mother Photography.
My Mommy and Me Marathon was a day of stylized sessions with whimsical boho vibes that felt like spring. I love helping women pick out a wardrobe that they feel comfortable and beautiful. My wardrobe and accessory closet has grown significantly in the past few months, especially in the women's department! I did my best to coordinate with the mamas prior to the session, asking about size and color preference, which made changing and dressing go smoothly at the event.
Genuine smiles and giggles helped to capture some gorgeous images. Thank you to everyone who came and for sharing these special moments with me.
I'm looking forward to more opportunities to help women get out in front of the camera this year. I'll be attending educational classes at my annual conference in a few weeks, and have more special sessions planned for this summer!
