It is spring break week here, how ever it seems Mother Nature didn't get that memo, as we are being treated to cool temperatures and windy rainy days. This morning the littles and I trekked down the driveway to have it annual pictures with the daffodils. It something we look forward to every spring, and have had to put off several times so far this year due to the inclement weather.
I love taking pictures of my kiddos, especially outside where they are the happiest! Today was no exception, the overcast sky was a perfect backdrop and lighting and I managed to snap a few little memories. My babies were so thrilled to be out side they hardly stood still for a snapshot so I got my exercise in chasing them around! Sooner than later I hope to be outside taking pictures for my clients as well, I have faith that one day the sun will come out and the temperatures will rise and spring will fade into summer. Then we can finally get outside and play.

Some days I question my sanity in deciding to start a small work from home business with three kids, a new puppy, farm and mountains of laundry, and then I recognize I am doing this for my sanity! I love my life, my kids, my husband and it farm, it's a whole lot of work but at the end of the day we go to bed happy. Starting my own business wasn't ever really the plan, but it has unfolded in front of me like a cleared path through a hay field before harvest. I had been looking, searching for something to utilize my brain, my creative side, and to be done on my terms and time. This has been the best thing for my self, and my family. I've only been at this for a month or so, I am grateful to my family, and friends who have let me practice my skills on them and their babies. You all have really helped jump start this adventure K Working from home :) taking time for horse lessons
