Oh this little sweet heart had such a fun time after her session was over, during she wasn't so sure! This 18 month session was split into two sets, a little winter snowflake fun, and a Valentine's day celebration. I'm saving the hearts for closer to the day, but I am excited to share these snowflake images with you.
One thing I find helpful when a little one isn't feeling the session is to give them a little break, let them explore the space and feel more comfortable with where we are and what they are doing. If that doesn't work and little one still isn't feeling it I bust out ( with mom and dads permission) my secret weapon of fruit snacks! Those little buggers work nearly every time. One fruit snack per smile. Usually an entire package will let us finish the session with a happy kid! Working with kids can be tricky, they almost never want to do what you want them to do. Patience is key, no pressure, and never let them see you sweat! I always ensure there is extra time built in to a session, to let kids be kids. So mommas and daddies relax let the kids be kids and we will get what we get and usually if the littles aren't feeling pressure you can get some awesome natural shots. Enjoy this little lady and catch me next time you need some fun pictures of your little ones.
