Little Mothers Gifts of Grace was blessed to photograph three special little ladies last week. Ryleigh, Baylie, and Hailea are natural triplets!
The girls were born at 27 weeks, and 6 days, after mom spent one week in the hospital on bed rest. Ryleigh was the first to come home from the NICU May 5, 2016. Baylie followed on May 9, and last but not least Hailea made it home on May 24. The girls came to see me June 13. As they were not due till May 30 technically they were the size of regular newborns when I met them.
Momma worked so hard to get the girls breast milk while they were in the NICU, props to you momma, that is awesome! (and not easy) She told me she would prep bottles in the morning and at night to keep things smoother. The girls also have a 15 mo old big brother, so mom keeps diaper bags on the ready for every one all the time! Mom says her biggest issue is laundry (they are a family of 10, I only have a family of five and I drown in the laundry tide, so I can't even imagine)
These girls are a 1 in 81,00 miracle, and even more amazing is that even though they were born so early they are all healthy and continuously meeting milestones of a full term baby. How blessed is this family?
Having all three little ones in the studio was a blast, a handful but a blast. I had the helpful hands of my assistant and mom, grandma, dad, and big sister. So getting the babies settled, wrapped and changed if needed was actually quite easy. Keeping babies names straight, which binkie belonged to who, those proved a little more challenging!
I was delighted when at the end of the session we even got all three babies asleep! I miracle in itself, Hailea slept through the entire session and when her sisters finally joined her I could have cried it was so beautiful to see these three little girls curled up together. It was amazing, and I am sure a blessed sight for mom as well.
I am so excited and honored to be able to offer the Little Mothers Gifts of Grace sessions to the families in our community. I have met some amazing children, and parents who are facing every parents worst nightmares with grace and dignity. I am always on the look out for the next Gifts of Grace recipient if you know some one who would enjoy and benefit from one of these session please contact me. firstname.lastname@example.org
