I am so honored to have been asked to be a small part of this great project. WomanSpace is the dream of an amazing lady, Summer. A place that women can come together and celebrate life, grow their business, start a business, make friends, make connections, and be women supporting women in this community. WomanSpace is becoming a reality for the Rolla community, and it is really awesome.
Summer asked me if I would come take some pictures of the space, and also to be present at the grand opening as a photographer for the event. I was tickled to be asked and went right over to see what it was all about. The space is great, lots of rooms for prenatal yoga classes, mommy and me fitness, as well as office space, and even a fantastic little store area for local artisans to share their wares.
One of the great things about this entire idea, to me, is that it is very kid friendly, I often take my littlest kiddo with me to shoots like this and she was welcomed, and offered toys to play with and then included on the tour. As a stay at home mom, it is nice to find places that welcome and enjoy having kids present.
The space is a work in progress and is quickly filling up with wall art, and vendors. I am excited to see where this space goes, and how it grows to fit the needs of our local women.
One of the really fantastic parts of this project is the WomanSpace has a non profit outreach program funded by all the income from the classes, and vendors. To specifically help the women of Rolla, how amazing is that! So if you have a minute and would like to check out WomanSpace please visit the website and the space!
